  • On July 12th,2024

    • Bakers and Hinojosas arrive in Seattle at 9:00 AM Pacific Time

    • Bakers and Hinojosas travel to Paradise first

    • Bakers and Hinojosas travel to AirBnB in Greenwater and check in.

    • Holly and Frank travel to AirBnB in Greenwater to check in and provision the house with Food and Drink

    • Bakers, Hinojoas, Frank, Holly and Kendal stay the nigght at the AirBnB

  • 7/12/24

    • Everyone arrives at White River Entrance BEFORE 7 AM Ideally

      • Prior to 7 AM you don’t need a timed entry reservation.

      • If everyone in our group has a copy of the Special Use permit no one should have to wait in line if you just drive up to the gate house and display the Permit.

      • Lines start forming at 7 AM for folks with timed entry resevations

    • Its a 30 minute drive up to Sunrise Day Lodge parking area where we will gather before heading off to the Emmons Vista Glacier View Point Trail and then on to the Silver Forest Trail where the Ash Spreading Site will be.

    • 8-9 AM we all walk about a half mile to the Ash spreading site on Silver Forest Trail

    • 9-10 AM we will spread the ashes and say our Good by’s to Jean, Harry and Bill

    • If the weather is good we could have a picnic lunch at the trail site or if weather is bad there is the Sunrise Day Lodge

    • Afternoon is open for folks to explore the Sunrise area or other areas of the park as they wish

    • Everyone returns to Greenwater AirBnB by 6 or 7 PM

    • Could have dinner at the AirBnB or somewhere in Greenwater or up at Crystal Mountain Resort
